I bought an iPad 2 for my father-in-law, and it finally completed its five-day, 2,809-mile road trip across the USA today.
Really, Apple? You’re sitting on $50 billion in cash. You can’t fly the iPads across the country?
I suppose it gives the iPads a chance to see the country and check out the world’s largest ball of twine before they have to suffer through a life of smudged screens, accidental drops and eventual relegation to coasters once the iPad 3 comes out.
UPDATE: It wasn’t even the iPad that shipped — it was just the cover. “Your blog understates the problem,” said my father-in-law. “Nice cover though.” -David
